What if Jesus offers far more than advice on how to live?
He claimed to give His life for others and to have power over death itself. But are those claims true? And what could they mean for us today?
Come and explore with us at 321 this week.

Either Jesus did it all, or he didn’t.
It’s either all of Christ, or it’s all of us.
We’re either trusting him or something else.
It really is that simple. And, for what it’s worth, we don’t sing, “Jesus paid a lot.”
You don't need to have all the answers to take the claims of Jesus seriously. Bring your questions or doubts to 321 Dublin tonight.
Join us for food, short videos and open conversation.

Jesus made extraordinary claims about Himself. They're worth examining seriously, because if what He says is true, the implications reach into every part of life.

Recently saw a church sign that proudly announces that their gatherings are "encounters, not services."
A fascinating inversion of ecclesiology has been happening for a generation.
Our common oblation, our "service" to God is replaced by our experience of God.
I am not against experiencing God, but to invert the very soul of the Lord's Day is dangerous indeed.
We do not come to the big questions empty-handed. We already carry ideas about what life is, why we are here and what kind of world this is. Jesus does more than answer those questions. He makes us ask whether we started in the right place.

We entered a world already in progress and spend years trying to work out what it means. Jesus does not speak like another person guessing at the answer. He speaks as the One through whom the world was made.

We can leave questions about God, ourselves and what life is for unanswered for years and still build around whatever we assume is true. In Jesus, those questions meet. If He is who He says He is, our answers have to reckon with Him.

Even if every human being behaved better tomorrow, bodies would still fail and death would still come. Creation is “in bondage to decay”, but it is also waiting to be set free. Jesus has risen, so decay is not all creation will ever know.

What is wrong with the world cannot be explained only by the people we blame. Jesus says, “From within, out of people’s hearts, come evil thoughts.” We can recognise the problem around us and still carry it within us.

@MomC3P91 There is real comfort in knowing that our present struggle is not the whole story either. We belong to Him now and one day we will see Him as He is and be made like Him.
@MomC3P91 The hope in 1 John is so steadying. Our assurance is not found in how well we think we are doing, but in Christ Himself. And that hope does not make us careless about sin. It draws us nearer to Him, trusting that the One who saved us is still at work in us.
Most of us carry some picture of God before we ever stop to ask where it came from. Jesus does not leave that question to guesswork. The Son has made the Father known. If we want to know what God is like, we cannot leave Jesus out of the answer.

When Jesus speaks about eternal life, He does not begin with what happens after death. He speaks of knowing the Father and Him. Life according to Jesus begins with being brought to God through the Son and death cannot end the life He gives.

Many people have strong opinions about Christianity without ever giving Jesus much attention for themselves. He deserves more than second-hand conclusions. Read His words. Watch what He does. Listen to His claims.
Come and see.
John 1:46
We can know a great deal about Christianity and still never really reckon with Jesus Himself. Questions, need and even curiosity may bring us near, but Jesus is not simply someone to consult when life becomes difficult. He calls us to know Him.
