@DanStrain6@BradBiggs My guess it’s because the McCaskeys always have to butt in and be convinced. I truly believe KW/RP wanted to fire Flus a few games ago but the owners blocked them and were still blocking them until after that meeting.
@Nickboy71@SeanEas2297@JAYChi_Bears Assets? The Bears had low picks and barely any salary cap and a bunch of old players on contract when Poles got here…we didn’t have a 1st rounder and he had to trade to get as many picks as we got in 2022….
@jjAConiquet@itsfickybaby Your opinion isn’t a fact. The fact is, a 7-10 was not the worst record in the NFL. As you just identified, both Carolina and Washington had much worse records. I’m not sure what Avengers the Bears had on their roster in 2023…many of those additions happened this off season.
@jjAConiquet@itsfickybaby Bears were 7-10 in 2023. They weren’t the worst team, Carolina was. Wash was 4-13. The Bears just had Carolina’s #1 pick, which is how they got Caleb. Washington’s schedule down the stretch is actually easier b/c NFC East is weak this season and NFC North is strong.
@TheHuggyBear123 @itsfickybaby They really don’t talk about this enough in the media. Jayden’s OL is giving him so much time. Every game I watch, they are protecting so well… he has beautiful pockets. It’s giving Jayden the confidence to make all the big throws and giving him time to develop.
@kkovo1954@CCScubaSteve@davebfr And the multiple other times…the play to Kmet wasn’t even a hot route! Kmet blocked and then released. Getsy is not giving the offense answers….sheesh
@JakeC79@Directhim It’s a combo of playcalling, Fields holding onto the ball, and the OL now improving significantly within the middle of the season. Starting with Denver, the OL has been much better since Tevin came back.
@danorlovsky7 Please explain why they aren’t running the ball. Bears had the best running attack in the NFL last season…yesterday, Hebert averaged 5ypc and got less than 10 touches. It’s like Getsy is sabotaging the offense. Justin has played poorly…but this is absurd.
