@TokonFighters Was taking my time to learn Spidey with the Amazing Guardians during the beta, but I’d like to try Doom, Goblin and Carnage for a bit when the game fully releases, for sure.

1. download videos with 4kvideodownloader+, or use yt-dlp, or just screen record with OBS
2. get the clip you want and export it with the highest bitrate possible using whichever video editing software you have (capcut for me), preferably nothing over 4 seconds
3. download instagiffer, it's old as fuck and was made for tumblr but if you google it you'll find the download, it's a lot of trial and error but you want to preserve as much quality as you can while staying JUST under desktop twitter's 15mb limit
these are the settings mine generally have, shorter clips can have higher frame sizes while still under 15mb which makes the quality way higher, the enhance filter removes visual artifacts (all of these things will make more sense when you're actually using it)
this part is awkward to explain, but just make the "length" longer than the clip itself, like if your video is 2.33334 seconds or some shit then you can just tell instagiffer to make it 10 seconds, it won't actually make it 10 seconds but will use every frame so you're not losing anything
4. if all of that sounds like too much, ezgif is a free site that takes longer but works fine
Thoughts after a few hours of playing with Steam Machine.
- 3D performance is just…meh.
- The system recommends to default to 1080p - am I going back to PS4 days?
- Some games take a looooooong time to boot, what is it doing?
- System UI is easy to use.
- Being able to boot up by pressing a button on Steam Controller is a killer feature.
- Changeable face plate is nice.
- Random boot up videos is a nice touch :)
- Sticks on Steam Controller is a bit looser than my taste.
- Having touch pad is nice, but it is very “touchy” and hard to use.
- It allows me to play Steam games on my living room TV, which is a reason enough to keep it.
- But the price was very unfriendly. Hard to recommend to people unless for research.
