@genesimmons@genesimmons Vibe cancelled my reservation because they couldn't verify my ID which forced me to re-book and lose my great seats for the shows. They sent an email to my junk inbox. I was there last year with the same information no reason to verify me. See you in November
@IslesFix add in that Mantha has scored over 60% of his NHL point total in the first 6 years of his career. His playoff scoring is 0 goals in 20 games. You could be right as he would fit in with this roster to join the other 9 forwards who are not top 6 but why add that and that price?
@IslesFix 2 yrs for 9m? I cite Drouin and Duke. I also see dozens of players who fit the profile of skilled without the will. He has an on/off switch. For that money he's already in OFF mode as he got paid.
Islanders fans please remember the islanders had a 61-112-29 record in the fisherman jersey. Do not submit anything remotely close so the can win more than 39% of their games. You learn not to repeat history but to leave it where it is. Thanks
@isles fans read this. There is a NTC involved and the player had a preference to where he wanted to go. So even though all of you think he should have been an Islander...maybe he didn't agree. So maybe Darche and 30 other GMs weren't in the mix. Relax.
Armstrong on Kyrou trade: "Jordan and I and his agent, Dave Gagner ... it just felt in the last little while that he wasn't getting the role that he had probably wished some nights. Snuggerud had taken a little bit over. We talked and they talked about maybe a change might be good for everyone at this point. You want to make it work, so we waited and tried to find different avenues where everyone could get what they wanted out of it. But in the end, both sides felt that potentially exploring different options would be in everyone's best interest so we started down that process and got comfortable putting Jordan in a spot -- because of his no-trade clause -- he had the opportunity to make sure he was going to a team that he felt he could have success in and we felt we were getting a return that we believe is equivalent to the player that I player Jordan is, which is a 30-plus goal scorer, excellent speed. It was just something that everybody was comfortable with at this time." #stlblues
How many teams are actually competing for the Stanley Cup? If you think it's 32 teams and yours is one of them...in reality only maybe 6 teams are trying to win. 26 teams are NOT one player or one trade away ..
so everyone is upset because the #Isles didn't land the NHL's 157th ranked goal scorer? I guess guys who score 18 goals in an 82 game season are hard to come by? And you need to give up picks and players for that?
@Schark22 think the Isles got the best they could out of a 6th round pick. Time to get younger. Loyalty gets you a wild card...trying to win (Vegas) gets you 3 trips to the finals in 9 years. Tell me any fan base who wouldn't want that?
