Rollercoaster of an article. Institutional mistrust, medical negligence, conspiracy theories, and serious delusions. Well worth a read. https://t.co/QTd7kdfI8Q
I once contacted @jessphillips out of the blue for advice about a woman I was trying to support who had fled domestic violence. I emailed her at 7pm on a Friday night not really expecting a response. 1/2
Today @bbclondon came to UCLH to learn more about the #clinicaltrial we are running into long COVID treatments. STIMULATE-ICP is testing existing drugs such as anti-histamines, or rivaroxaban (blood clotting medicine) to provide evidence on whether they help #longCOVID patients.
'Rishi Sunak isn't even British!'
Sangita Myska eviscerates this racist caller who says Tory party member won't vote for Sunak because 'he doesn't represent Britain'.

The Met Office has issued an extreme heat warning for next week. Please remember the signs of heat exhaustion and heatstroke especially for older and medically vulnerable people. Early intervention to cool people down and rehydrate them can be lifesaving.

Consider a PGcert (only 1pt) costs between 3k-5k nowadays, plus the 4 courses (several hundred ££ each) + MRCS + conference fees + travel. Max points in these domains requires ~ £8k of backing...disgraceful..
I do love the next bit - you worked really hard to get into medical school, but apparently going to medical school means absolutely nothing after you left medical school.
Just driven round 4 garages. No fuel in any of them. Needle now deep in the red and an urgent rethink regarding tomorrows commute is in order.
Absolute state of this country.
