Yes, it’s the people who seem genuinely shocked by the disgraceful police behaviour in that case that disturb me, when if you’ve been paying any attention to British policing in the past 20 years it’s exactly the sort of nasty, malign, politicised attitude you’d expect to see from them.
British Sikhs have long been considered a model minority and an integration success story. The core teachings of Sikhism promote equality for all human beings. This is not merely in word, but deed. Go to any gurdwara anywhere in the world and you can get a free vegetarian meal, regardless of who you are.
Over the years, Britain has made legal accommodations for Sikhs. Turbaned Sikhs have an exemption from wearing a helmet on a motorbike, famously satirised in the British sitcom Only Fools and Horses with the 'Del Boy turban helmet'.
Baptised Sikhs (Amritdharis) are provided an exemption (and a defence) on religious grounds, under the Offensive Weapons Act 2019, to carry a ceremonial knife, known as the kirpan, as part of five symbols of their faith – colloquially known as the 5Ks.

You can certainly see the naive fools on here at the moment, the ones who really think Henry Nowak’s family weren’t put up to push the ‘let’s teach the world to sing in perfect harmony’ nonsense by a cynical, bullying state. Many of the same clowns who thought walking one-way down a supermarket aisle in 2020 would prevent them from getting an airborne virus.
Come on, the OBR is not a serious agency. It is a propaganda tool of the regime, designed to provide cover for the regime’s financial incontinence. No sensible person takes any notice of its forecasts.
The OBR has admitted that its prediction that the British economy would expand by 2% in 2025 was "too optimistic", partially because it underestimated the negative impact of Rachel Reeves' decision to impose a large increase in employer NICs.
The amount of money the government is borrowing is also £60bn higher than the OBR predicted, which is truly shocking given the vast increases in taxes imposed by Labour.
These are the sort of people who, had they been present at the scene of Nowak dying, would have rushed into their own kitchen, grabbed a knife and stabbed him with it, just to make sure he died for the 'crime' of being racist.
“Farage has gone as close as he can to what feels like incitement…
...before stepping back and saying, “I’m not suggesting you do anything. I'm just saying it would be normal to feel pure cold rage”.
Farage has been likened to 'Tommy Robinson in a suit' - is there truth in it?
@bea_johanssen@PatrickChristys Evidence?! It's widely published information, and has been noted in many newspapers and reports following all such incidents that the Home Office and other Whitehall agencies have people who 'manage' these situations.
@bea_johanssen@PatrickChristys You do realise that his family was almost certainly bullied by the state to say that? The Home Office has a special unit of psychologists, etc. designed to do exactly this to families of those murdered by politically sensitive people or in politically sensitive circumstances.
These Chief Constables are now regularly wheeled out to lie for the cameras, in order to buttress the regime. Problem is, the number of people who know these coppers are lying is rising exponentially.
Chief Constable Alexis Boon of Hampshire Police has rejected claims of "two-tier" policing.
Speaking to @JasonFarrellSky, he said he does not believe UK policing is "racist" - but conceded that "there are racist individuals within policing".

To this day I have not forgotten the sight of a gang of gypsies stuffing food down their wellington boots in the aisles of Waitrose in Green St Green, Kent, and that was 45 years ago.
Travellers are a key part of growing up British. The first time they come to your park or village green, stealing your neighbours’ dogs and bikes, dumping out their chemical toilets on the grass when they leave, you learn a lesson: Not all stereotypes are based on misinformation.
A photograph that reminds me that France too is in an absolute mess: a national football team that is African and a president's wife who is 'interesting', to say the least.
