Britain doesn’t need to spy on Chinese AI because they open source and publish everything, also because of that we know that they don’t need British AI research. To understand the difference Deepseek R1 was launched at the start of 2025 and they published their architecture, it took Mistral up to December 2025 to use the same architecture … so the difference in research is very big.
@mortimatiba@sulliv44676@lporiginalg The real truth is that you say you are Christian but you are jealous of a brother’s success in life, you want that success for yourself but instead of working for it you prefer to insult the ones that have it because you don’t believe in yourself enough to get it.
@VytautasTheGrrr@FlashbangJuris@DursinsBN But didn’t Zelenskyy repeatedly declare that Ukraine is ready for a “ unconditional ceasefire “, I don’t think president Zelenskyy would lie about that, do you ?
Trump is banning students majoring in degrees that don’t make enough money from taking out college loans. Degrees for social work, art, religious studies, teaching aides, and music will be hit the hardest. https://t.co/6tV30STfyc
The constant decel messaging in Europe is insufferable as an adult, but its effect on kids is worse. As a parent, it's your obligation to counterprogram this nonsense. Show them robots, rockets, and wonders of AI. Show them cathedrals and moon landings. Instill hope in progress.
@effectfully Probably, I am building an app that needs to process large amounts of unstructured data with clankers and transform it in non deterministic structured data, I use subagents to better leverage context …. The hell I went through in the last 2 months ….
The reason why I'm working on that project on and off is that it's depressing as fuck. I hadn't done anything this depressing since before I wrote enterprise Java for a living.
Code generation is alright, it works. But I also need the clanker to write prompts for subclankers and oh my god it's soul-sucking.
The clanker doesn't understand the stochastic nature of AI. It feels like the subclanker will reasonably follow the prompt. It of course won't.
So you explain it to the clanker and it just puts a wall of prompt legalese into markdown files, making the subclanker reward-hack and behave even worse.
I've seen an entire ping-pong session where the clanker would encourage subclankers to do something, then forbid it completely, then encourage again etc, because each attempt would create a different set of issues.
At every step your instructions get distorted to the point where they're unrecognizable and in the end the subclanker is doing exactly what it's not supposed to be doing.
And on top of that there's the factor of LLMs being chaotic. There's never a causal relationship between the quality of the prompt and the quality of the final result. Maybe it just derailed this one time after the prompt was changed, despite the change being positive on average.
So I never actually know if things are getting better or not. Plus, I have to rely on the clanker's judgement to determine how good the results are, because if I tried to analyze them manually, I'd just drown in all that data. So I can't even be sure that a good result is a good result.
Literally nothing is certain or trustworthy.
And the worst part is that all this nonsense and suffering is still worth it, so I can't just quit.
Do you really think that 80 000 people could get on boats and get to an island in Spain without the secret services or military knowing about it if they had no outside help ? Like I can understand 100 but tens of thousands is crazy, that would mean Morroco could easily invade Spain.
A bit extreme, they are the ones with less restrictions but there are middle powers that can decide their own destiny but face more constraints, like India, Iran, Israel ( partially … as they are very subversive and yield a lot of influence by deception), Brazil, Turkey, DPRK and so on.
@ClaudeLorraine6@gearoidmurphy_ Yes, actually Merkel was one of the few who tried to resist and make ties with the Russians to do it, but do you remember the Snowden files ?
