@MattRumancik If they suck, no. So many destroy value/companies, are horrible capital allocator and still get paid millions. They end up cutting costs (staff) and get paid millions to suck. The good ones, sure. At some point I think it gets ridiculous though...

@DivvyUp_King They have more money than the typical person so they're buying at scale and betting that as enough institutions buy houses, prices go up.
Probably can offer more than your typical person.
I would sent it to a Realtor and ask what they can get you.
@shawngorham Private 1st mortgages at 7-8%. Sell the house, invest that in reits.
Should be able to get 100k of passive income.
Move to a rent controlled state and rent.
@MattLasky I actually am doing this right now. Looking at presentations or quarterly transcripts can take 20 minutes and give you better data than you can find searching online.

@TD_Canada wouldn't approve a credit limit increase to $5K. @cibc approved two cards with $10K limits in 5 minutes.
800 credit score, and been with TD for 20 years.
Not sure if I should be more scared I got 20K of credit in 10 minutes, or TD wouldn't increase my limit.
