@EE My parents are 90. I just found you sold them internet, mobile, & phone for £120/month. They can't cancel as 'signed a contract'. That's exploitation - they don't need fibre and lots of data, they need a fitting contract, not to be robbed. Anyone have any legal advice?

@EE @ee who do you suggest I call? The latest call to you call-centre was very unhelpful, unlike other calls about the same subject. Difference? I'm going going elsewhere. You have no shame, hiding behind legal.

@EE I have called, they steadfastly refuse to release the phone-number to another provider - but will 'wave the release fee' if we enter another (expensive) contract. That's unreasonable, unfair, and I will not allow my parents to be fleeced in such a way. OfCom informed.

@EE @hadagohero BT waved the £540 to get out of contract, and cancelled it. But to transfer the landline # I had to un-cancel, so now charging £573 to go elsewhere.

@EE ...so you've already had way over £1000 from them for something they don't need. Your responsible action will be to cancel all further invoices.

@EE The landline/internet was over the phone, about a year ago - I was unaware, and they didn't realise how badly they were being advised. Your support offered to remove the £11 "call anyone" fee (which they should never have had) and said 'contract signed' That's not ok.
