How did @JerseyCity come up with their bike master plan?
They used bike rides, social outreach, tactical urbanism, local stakeholders feedback & a giant map residents could stand on wearing socks!

In response to a question in Berlin #NH about “other candidates stealing his positions” Sen. Bernie Sanders says it comes down to “who do you trust the most.” #nhpolitics#FITN
I've never once confused the gas and brake in my life. I've also never own a car with an automatic transmission.
If you drive an automatic and use both feet (one for each pedal) for the love of god please stop. My high school driving instructor is kicking holes in his coffin.
In cities across America, scooters are being strewn across sidewalks and hanging from tree branches. Scooter companies are doing nothing to rein in bad behavior by their customers. We need to ban all scooters immediately until we can figure this out!
When the contractor thinks it's acceptable to store stuff in a crosswalk...
This was just one of many MUTCD Chapter 6 violations as a part of this project!

"We believe it is very important for children to get a decent traffic education."
Every spring, over 200,000 children across the Netherlands—ages 10 and 11—participate in a "verkeersexamen" ("traffic exam"), to demonstrate they are able to safely get around their city on a bike.
Why do we make our communities so unsafe for children, and then think the answer is to ban children from freely moving about our communities?

Cities: if your approach to cycling/pedestrian infrastructure is to minimize disruption to drivers, you are mediocre, at best.
Transform your thinking. Strive for excellence. Be bold.
I am absolutely incensed by Coroner Tim Scott's findings that blamed a child's parents for her tragic death because they let her walk to school. I will be writing to the Chief Coroner today. @JulieAnneGenter https://t.co/7mCBJ7dr7C
"may be distracting enough..."?!?
We need new safety standards for US vehicles that ban such obvious distractions, limit speeds in certain areas, and require safe vehicle design, not just for passengers, but for people outside these vehicles too!
You *could* put up a crosswalk if you want to make pedestrians a tiny bit safer. But if you want to *really* send the message that the streets aren't just for cars, break out the colors. Get some awesome photo inspiration in this article from @NPR. https://t.co/SQ7pv4HuZj
I lived in an apartment building that came with 2 parking spots I was charged extra for even though I didn't own a car. After they told me it was "policy" that I be charged an extra $50/month even though I never use those spots I rented them out to the neighbors...for $100/month.
