Hi @WorldBankWater! I am a student at Wilfrid Laurier University researching the implications of water pollution for an assignment in one of my classes. Do you have any advice to give others about how to tackle this issue?

Another way you can minimize the negative health impacts from too much screen time is by turning off your phone 1 hour before going to bed! Doing so creates distance from your screens, and allows you to fall asleep faster, for longer, which is vital for good health! #EM203Robin
Plastic waste reduction and proper recycling are two great ways to help our environment by preventing water pollutants from entering our oceans and other bodies of water.
This website goes into depth about all the specifics of water pollution, including the impacts it has on humans and the earth, and covers some tactics we can take to prevent it. https://t.co/ywrX8euBQ8
This is a great way to use our resources and technology to make a difference in the environment. Reducing emissions at an individual level, with technological advancements, can help in preventing global warming and water pollution. #EM203Robin#EM203Research
Recycling waste is a great way to reduce CO2 emissions.
As separating waste for recycling is a repetitive task, it can be automated.
Here you can read how #artificialIntelligence learns to recognize waste
and makes recycling easier:

I am focusing on water pollution for my EM203 Spread the News Project. A solution that I am interested in is the reduction of CO2 emissions. Check out this article that gives examples on how individuals can reduce their carbon footprint: https://t.co/tmrrcwK7u2

@emiliepower1 Hi Emilie, you have a great concept map! A problem I identified surrounding social media is the fear of missing out. FOMO has caused people to constantly be on their social media and worry when they are not, which overall affects their mental health. #EM203problems
@EM203_HYOKICH Hi Hanna, I like how detailed your concept map is! A problem I identified surrounding online education is that there is a lack of face-to-face communication with in turn leads to social isolation. #EM203problems
@EM203amccarles Hi Ainsley, I really like your concept map! A problem I have identified surrounding mental health is that there seems to be a larger stigma for those who identify as male. #EM203problems
EM203 has been such a fun and interesting class so far! I really enjoy the interactive learning we do, especially since it's an asynchronous class. The content that we learn is so relevant in today's day-and-age, and I'm super excited for the rest of the term! #EM203Robin
@EM203MEaster I completely agree! I didn’t know that much about experiential learning before the reading. I am glad I now understand it better and see how it applies to different activities inside and outside of the classroom!
@EM203NVaz I completely agree, Nicole! Even though this is an education course, and I am not in education, I am still able to learn a lot about myself and can apply different concepts to all of my courses!
@PelowTeresa I agree! Of course I have used technology for majority of my life, but never really appreciated it until we were all separated. I have become more dependent on it for communication and have seen a shift in my learning styles for sure!
@EM203_Margaret I completely agree! Throughout reading the weekly content, I have come to better understand my learning styles and how our digital environment can impact and improve them!
@EM203NGottlieb I agree with you completely, Nyla! Especially being in a virtual environment right now, I feel that I can better relate to the topics discussed within the weekly content.
