Great to host Yorkshire Air Ambulance at Ortus House last week for a SPEAR course with Dr Jon Barratt.
Specialist endovascular resuscitation that delivers real‑time data to support critical on‑scene decisions during cardiac arrest.
@YorkshireAirAmb#SPEAR#Resuscitation
Great day of learning with @YorkshireAirAmb & colleagues, focusing on individualised, physiological targeted resuscitation, aimed at optimising survival & ROSC in the most challenging cases.
Thanks to @EMDocJB & @HaldenHB & the rest of the faculty.
OHCA management beyond #ALS

In cardiac arrest, adrenaline reliably improves ROSC - but has not consistently translated into better long-term neurological survival.
Our comment asks whether the problem is not adrenaline itself, but how and where we deliver it..

We’re recruiting a Technical Crew Member at Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
A unique opportunity to support life-saving emergency missions across the region - both on the ground and during flight operations
This weekend i had the opportunity to attend to the SPEARS course. It was an amazing experience; pushing the boundaries of resuscitation therapy towards a physiological approach - this is the way to improve ROSC / survival. Thanks to the ABRAMEDE and the SPEAR team for the knowledge and experiences shared!
A great few days delivering the first SPEAR course in the amazing city of Sao Paulo for the Brazilian Emergency Medicine Association. A chance to catch up with friends from the UK & Netherlands, and meet some amazing clinicians - thanks for the invitation! @EMDocJB@HaldenHB
Time to head up to Edinburgh for the DipIMC and FIMC
My first diet as Convener, following in the footsteps of a fantastic group of pre hospital legends
Good luck to all the candidates and huge thanks to all of my fellow examiners for their hard work and enthusiasm
Very excited to see this project develop into the next phase
@DrPaulRees and I had a vision to create a world leading advanced resuscitation course, combining with the simulation expertise of @ATACCGroup makes this a reality!
Grateful to @Obidoc and @HaldenHB for the vision

Our first #SPEAR course in Germany took place this weekend! On the grounds of the Mannheim medical university, 23 participants engaged in lively discussions, learning conversations and skills stations. Are you an experienced resuscitator looking for an intense masterclass?
Excellent first day at the @emtaccs Mannheim 🇩🇪 SPEAR course
Great group of candidates with lots of stimulating discussion around advanced resuscitation concepts
