Amazing presentation by Dr. Sanjay Mohan
@ToxNyu discussing a resuscitation for a massive Aleve PM (diphenhydramine/naproxen) overdose!
Remember- diphenhydramine is a sodium channel blocker and can cause a widened QRS. #NACCT2020
All-star @ToxNyu fellow Dr. Sanjay Mohan (who needs to get on twitter!) presents an anticholinergic pt who seized while getting physostigmine.
BUT physo was pushed slowly-- 1 mg over 5 minutes. Seizure more likely secondary to diphenhydramine than physostigmine. #nacct2020
