On this 80th anniversary of VJ Day, we remember all who served in the Far East and Burma during WW2.

Kranji War Cemetery and Singapore Memorial lit up for #VJDay80
We commemorate over 4,400 Commonwealth casualties of the Second World War here. More than 850 of the burials are unidentified. Within the grounds stands the Singapore Memorial, commemorating 24,000 Commonwealth servicemen and women who died across Southeast Asia who have no known grave.
We will remember them.
'The war is over' declared King George VI eighty years ago.
Today we honour anew all those whose service and sacrifice saw the forces of liberty prevail.
