SERVICE
I’ve been trying to put into words what I saw last night.
What struck me most wasn’t the fight, the venue, or the people in attendance.
For one night, the focus was on veterans, service members, first responders, and the men and women who have dedicated their lives to something bigger than themselves. I honestly can’t remember ever seeing an event of that scale centered around honoring them.
As I walked away, one thought stayed with me.
Of all the things I’ve accomplished in my life, the greatest honor I’ve ever earned is knowing that one day, when my time comes, an American flag will be draped over my body.
Not because of who I am, but because of what that flag represents.
Freedom. Opportunity. Love. Faith. Good.
When I think about last night, that’s what it was really about.
A country honoring those who have served it, and a reminder that there is no greater privilege than earning the right to be covered by the flag of the nation you love.
Thank you, President @realDonaldTrump , for opening the White House and creating an opportunity for so many Americans to come together and celebrate this country and the people who have dedicated their lives to serving it.
God Bless America. 🇺🇸
@Mkellytx2 Damn. I’m sorry to hear that. It’s a tragic aspect of what we do, but we all know the risks when we sign on that line, and we all volunteered to go do it.
Honor those lost and pray for their families 🫡🇺🇸
God Bless our Service Members.
There came a knock at my gate, and a young warrior, small but formidable, stood ready for battle.
She was perhaps nine. Behind her, at the sidewalk, a parent stood like a supply wagon. The sash carried badges of past campaigns. She looked up at me and spoke the words every American fears and longs for:
"Would you like to buy some Girl Scout cookies?"
In Japan, sales require months of relationship. Tea is poured. Cards are exchanged with two hands. Here, a nine-year-old general appears on your own land with a binder of product, and resistance has never once succeeded in the history of the republic.
"What is your strongest unit?" I asked.
"Thin Mints. Everybody gets Thin Mints."
"And if I refuse?"
She did not answer. She looked at me. The parent shifted weight. Somewhere, a wind chime rang. Refusal, I understood, was technically possible the way swimming to Hawaii is technically possible.
"Four boxes," I said.
"Most people get more. They freeze."
THEY FREEZE. Forward logistics. This child carries doctrine my family needed three centuries to learn: the campaign is won before it is fought, in the freezer.
I bought nine boxes. I am told this is called a start.
Dale confessed he buys from three generals, granddaughter, coworker's daughter, the girl at the supermarket table, and hides the count from his wife. Tribute, he calls it. Correct. This is not commerce. This is fealty, paid annually, in cookies.
I was not hungry. I was outranked.
A man does not negotiate with a general who brings Thin Mints. He surrenders, and calls it a donation.
The boxes are in my freezer, as instructed. They are nearly gone. She said she would return next year.
I have already begun setting aside funds. One does not meet such a commander unprepared twice.
🚨 BREAKING: A B-52 Stratofortress bomber has CRASHED at Edwards Air Force base in California
No word on casualties at this time, but its not looking good.
PLEASE pray for some sort of miracle for our service members 🙏🏻
President Trump recently told colleges to "End DEI policies”
Instead of ending them, American Universities have been secretly renaming their DEI programs

Despite all the dire predictions from the doomer crowd, last night’s UFC event at the White House was pure magic. The weather was fantastic—cool, breezy, and rain-free—and the much-hyped “mosquito apocalypse” turned out to be more fake news.
The fights were solid, but the walkouts stole the show. They showcased the historic East Wing, which often lives in the shadow of the West Wing, and the illuminated backdrop of the White House South Grounds was simply surreal. It was a spectacular setting and a memorable night.
EVEN EVEN MORE HILLARY
In the summer of 1997, Bill Clinton visited Denmark. We landed on AF-1 in Copenhagen, boarded Marine One for a night time tour of the coast en route to Kronborg Castle, for Shakespeare the “home of Hamlet.” We landed at around midnight and were welcomed with open arms by the queen and her staff.
Beautiful, historic castle. I was put up in the Scottish Military suite. Beautiful room with a fully appointed spread of meats, cheeses, breads, fruit, and a full bar. All served, of course, with fine china and crystal.
After a phone call with my wife, I made sure POTUS was down for the evening and went to bed.
The next morning, the queen had a breakfast spread for Clinton and the staff. Again, first class.
As we headed to the motorcade to leave for an event and the flight home, I was pulled aside by the Danish military aide.
“Buzz, we have a problem. Your staff stole the china and crystal from their rooms. And took other things as well.”
I was stunned and chagrined. I apologized profusely and told him I’d handle it.
I talked with Hillary and the White House chief of staff and told them what had happened.
They both shrugged their shoulders. No apology. Nobody held accountable. No repayment.
Just another day in the Clinton White House and a group of Ugly Americans.
I don’t want to hear a damn word from @HillaryClinton about White House decorum. Not a word.
This absolutely belongs in the same conversation as Chris Stapleton and Whitney Houston. Yeah … it’s that good.
Well done, @DanAndShay — and well done to the thousands in the crowd proudly and loudly singing along.
The massive crowd waiting to attend UFC 250 @ufc at the White House started chanting “USA!” as @TheCharlesDowns walked by.
It’s great to see Washington, D.C. filled with people who love America.
Again, you may not like the UFC thing at the White House, but the moment you hung a giant pride flag from the columns and had half-naked “trans” activists exposing themselves on the lawn, you lost all right to complain about desecration.
