Another fantastic turnout today cleaning for the Queen 👑 and litter picking the boundary of our parish. Thank you to everyone who turned up today, not very much litter collected (one bag over 7 miles) and a reminder of how lucky we are to live in #eastdevon

This is very concerning. Two readings ten minutes and 1/2 mile apart. One phosphate level 300, the other 1000! Brown film on the surface, What are you doing about this @SouthWestWater @simonjamesjupp the state of our rivers is unacceptable.

@SouthWestWater It is collecting in the bend of the river by the bridge, heading downstream. I couldn't see it running from anywhere.Weve had some very high phosphate levels in the river Otter at Otterton as well in the last few days with a brown film on the surface?

@SouthWestWater @simonjamesjupp I have just spoken to the @EnvAgencySW as there is more than evidence of pollution further up the river Otter. Why is @SouthWestWater not responsible for any of this river when it has a water treatment plant adjacent to it ?

@SouthWestWater @simonjamesjupp Hello Alex. I have attached two photos showing the locations of the water testing. The one north of Otterton had the lower reading. The others were in Otterton itself which is north of Budleigh Salterton East Devon. Let me know if you need anymore information.
