Red flags that someone is bad at debating (or has already lost):
1) Hurling personal insults instead of engaging with the actual points.
2) Repeating the same insults when they have nothing new to say.
3) Declaring themselves (or their opinion) smarter / more correct than everyone else, without justification.
4) Failing to construct even basic logical reasoning — contradictions, non-sequiturs, etc.
5) Leaning heavily on subjective assumptions and treating them as objective truth.
These are some of the most reliable indicators — when logic runs dry, ego and emotion usually take over.
Edison was the incumbent.
He ran a smear campaign to bury the future, publicly electrocuting dogs and even a horse to convince the public that Tesla's alternating current was lethal, and he lobbied to put AC in the electric chair so people would associate it with death. Pure FUD to protect his book.
Tesla was the actual genius. He saw the system that would power the entire planet, and the politics buried him alive.
Elon is not the Edison of our time. He is the Tesla of our time, except this time the genius wins.
I believe all lives matter. However…
What was done to Iryna Zarutska was beyond heartbreaking. Afterwards, the savage who stabbed her said “I got that white bitch.” Also, while she was bleeding out, the people around her did nothing.
What was done to Henry Nowak was legitimate injustice. The cops were way more afraid to be seen as racist than they were to enforce the law.
Besides, wearing this shirt would piss off the right people, so I think it’s funny.
Reason I don’t wear a Black Lives Matter shirt is because no one wearing that shirt would give a rat’s ass if my black conservatarian ass died. Speaks to a larger problem than just “black lives.”
I didn't say it wasn't impossible. I said it has to do in the deep sea to have maximum heat dissipating and reduce the risk. Even slightly changes temperature could have a serious cascade effect on sea temperature, or any leaking could change pH value. One small region affected could have a serious impact on the ecosystem.
The experiment was done years ago, long before the AI trend.
If you don't like Elon Musk, don't buy it. It's that simple. It's a free market. Nobody forces you to do so. If you are buying an index fund, you are giving authority for other managing for you, so complaining won't do a thing. You can stop it and buy whatever you want.
For all who are complaining about the @SpaceX valuation for its IPO, it’s a free market. Don’t buy it.
For those who believe in future and @elonmusk , it’s a free market, buy it.
