Update: At 3:55am this morning, I lost my best friend, husband and soulmate.
Mum is making slow but steady progress.
Please forgive me for my going 'under the covers' for a day or two. I will emerge ...
Couldn't sleep so went up the hill this morning. The moorland dawn chorus, a roe deer and a short eared owl would have been reward enough, but the sunrise took some beating. Insomnia does have its upsides.....sometimes ๐ #Fife
8 of us ascended Beinn Each from Loch Lubnaig. It was muddy underfoot and lots of snow. On the way back down we passed the Bealach nan Cabar with a slow descent back to the cars. Saw few ptarmigan and sorry to see a several dead deer. Obviously succumbed to the bad weather.
One of our walkers has been suffering from shin splints for the last six months and has been unable to walk with us. He has seen both a physio and pediatrist but he is still suffering. Does anybody have any ideas how to help him get over this?
