Here's how I save 1000$/month on SaaS apps and just spend 5$/month for everything in total.
The trick: I Switched to a open-source self hosted stack for my Business.
Everything costs me a total of 5$/mo for the @ContaboCom VPS (3vCore and 8GB ram). Will switch to higher plans or a VDS as I scale.
Here's what I currently use:
@twentycrm for CRM
It's just so minimal and perfect for a solo founder like me.
@AFFiNEOfficial for my White Board and Planning Board. I was shocked to see how good and organizable it is. Far better than Miro and Excalidraw.
@planepowers as my Project Management tool. Kills Jira and Clickup for me.
@DocmostHQ as my Notion Alternate (Although I'll still be using notion because of some templates, but for my business work, Docmost will be the only one)
@docusealco for sending documents for signing. My alternative for PandaDoc. (It also gets linked to my hostinger mail server)
@grafana for monitoring and analytics of databases using Visualisation.
Lastly:
Listmonk: newsletter and mailing list manager.
Some of them have APIs which I can use for automation (or I can just watch their databases). For this I have a self-hosted @n8n_io too.
And everything was setup with some clicks using templates from @easypanel_io
This setup also makes sure all my files are private and not present anywhere prone to data leaks.
I closed all my ports and self-hosted OpenVPN too. This made sure all the links were available only when connected to the VPN.
Easypanel mola
Ya tiene más de 400 templates y esto hace que su Buscador sea algo importante.
Como no me convencía....he creado Easytemplates
Plantillas traducidas a 🇪🇸, clasificadas y con un Buscador.
Algo de calor y feedback = lo mantengo 😜
Genie: I’ll give you one billion dollars if you can spend 100M in a month. There are 3 rules:
- no gifting
- no gambling
- no throwing it away
Dev: Can I use serverless?
Genie: There are 4 rules.
This is what I promoted and practiced for the past years! People who've never done it think it's a waste of time since only one person is actively writing the code.
At @easypanel_io we experience increased productivity, focus, clarity, and quality, during our pairing sessions.
🌟 Exciting News! 🌟
We're thrilled to announce that Easypanel now supports Purchasing Power Parity (PPP)!
P.S. Integration was a breeze using @paritydeals 🙌
Amazed by how effortlessly we can create our own PaaS akin to Vercel or Heroku using open tech like Docker. I've been frequently using @easypanel_io for deploying my company's projects—remarkably user-friendly, just a single command on a new Linux box. #OpenTech#PaaS
