Become dangerously educated. Be well-learned. Be harder to fool, sharper in conversation, and better at reading situations. Draw on centuries of knowledge and wisdom. Learn relentlessly. An informed mind is hard to manipulate, intimidate, or contain.
@SahilBloom A lot of people quit during the part where nothing seems to be happening. That's probably the hardest part, staying with it when you can't see the results yet.
Being able to change your mind when you realize you're wrong is actually a skill. Some people would rather defend a bad opinion forever than admit they got it wrong.
I’m convinced adaptability is the highest form of intelligence. Knowledge matters, but the ability to unlearn and change course is rare. The most impressive people I know change their minds often in response to new information. The goal isn't to be right. It's to find the truth.
Not everyone going through depression is heartbroken. Some people are just tired of trying and still not winning. May God lift whatever burden is on your heart.
The real, genuine people don’t have a lot of friends. They’re socially intelligent & highly selective about who gets access to them. They have NO desire to connect with people who are insecure, jealous, resentful and dishonest. That’s why they live quietly and protect their peace
