I'm about to say something very nice about BYU
A little over a year ago I was dating my now wife. I knew how big of a BYU fan her dad is, and I wanted to do something nice so I reached out to my BYU fan friends to see if I could get some cheaper tickets
So help me, don’t turn this into a political tweet. But, if we keep going down the path we’re going, we’re going to destroy this world. We have flooding level rain in one area, and 4 hrs away, we have a state on fire. We fight over everything. We treat those who need our help most, poorly. We’re filled with anger for those who disagree with us. Whether you believe in God, Allah, karma, energy, or whatever, the world is screaming at us right now to take it down a notch, and get back to being there for one another.
Random media observation: We here in Utah need to get over our inferiority complex. People either want to be here or not. Let’s stop asking athletes if they like it here, what their impressions are, etc.
Not throwing anyone under the bus; I’ve been as guilty as anyone. But it’s time to stop.
The atmosphere, the city, the fans…they’re all great. We don’t need to convince athletes or anyone else to like us. It only makes it more awkward when we feel like we have to consistently remind people how great Utah is.
People will come and go. That’s fine. Utah has its warts for sure, but I think it’s a damn fine place to call home.
No wonder the Saints dont have powerful witnesses of Christ.
Why would we, when wearing the same cheerleader uniforms as the world is more important than representing Jesus Christ and every other consideration.
In this light, @BYU sports is the god that the members of the @Ch_JesusChrist worship, not Jesus Christ. Maybe we're not Christian (but then neither are the other faith-based universities whose women dress the same way)
@BradJamesRadio@VinnysCorner1 I would argue that's better because they played defense and showed all around skill rather than both teams coming down and just shooting threes
