I don't understand.

The car my daughter Katie was riding in was struck at nearly 80 mph by an intoxicated illegal immigrant with a horrific background who was able to remain in Illinois because of @GovPritzker's "welcoming" and sanctuary policies without adequate guardrails.

No one seemed to mind.
No meaningful policy changes followed.
Why?

Why wasn't Katie's life worthy of the same attention, urgency, and calls for reform?

Why are some tragedies treated as catalysts for change while others are simply accepted and forgotten?

Why didn't her life, and the lives of countless other innocent victims, deserve the same attention, the same calls for policy change, and the same outrage?

Compassion shouldn't depend on blind ideology or political party. If it does, it isn't compassion at all.
