Eclectic Voices

Top London Choir, MD Scott Stroman

[Helen Smee @helensmee]

'Quality, Agility and Impact' could be the @BBCSingers' motto. This is our nation's (only) radio choir, and dis-banding it leaves us without the UK's finest home for choral directors, ensemble singers, schools' projects, new music etc etc etc.

Lunacy.

I’ve had the privilege of conducting this exceptional band of musicians. When my son @RWarmanComposer was shortlisted in the first @bbcradio3 carol competition they flawlessly performed his work live. It’s what they do. Do sign the Petition! https://t.co/gOsAuyX1K8 via @UKChange

@JohnKennyCarnyx Amazing!

[Gareth Harney @OptimoPrincipi]

The sound that once sent a shiver down the Roman legionary's spine! The bellow of a reconstructed carnyx - a war trumpet used by Iron Age Celts, Gauls, and Germans to incite troops to battle and instil terror in the enemy.
