Left my job in Michigan, packed my belongings in a car, and drove down to Miami

Thankful for the opportunity to be here

Right now the plan is to find work as a RN and grow my Ecom store

Yesterday evening I went to Bible study and stayed until 11:30pm playing chess and had to walk 40 minutes back because the public transit was closed 😭 so no update

We get so caught up focusing on the future especially in this space of Ecom, so I think it’s good practice to enjoy living in the present, and yesterday I decided to prioritize that with the community I’ve met here

No major progress to report these past 2 days, I have attempted to upload another set of video ads but they are getting banned by meta

It keeps saying it’s “deceptive or misleading business practice” and I don’t really know what the issue is

Contemplating on finding another product at this point since I can’t really get past this

I have a few more briefs that I have already made and will attempt for this, but if this doesn’t work then I will be moving onto a different product

I say the worst part about this is that it’s mentally tough when you don’t have a clear sense of direction

Still trenching through these difficult times, but we aren’t done yet

My ads keep getting banned by meta

I switch products to become more ethical, yet now my ads are being deemed unethical business practices

Funny how that works

We’ll keep trying to work around it, but I don’t want my ad account getting bricked, so I have to be cautious

Today was 1st day with new offer, and got a sale. Still having the same issue though, ATC rate is low

We’ll let it run a few more days and reassess

Working on finishing up this native tonight, and hopefully we’ll get another batch of video ads scheduled as well.

Fell asleep early yesterday so we’re doing a double update today

Still feeling sick but I’m pushing through it. Started out my day with a 10K run and launched a native and some video ads

Right away the video ads started picking up almost all of the spend and got a sale today, so it looks like I just suck at writing natives

The only way I get better though is by doing more so I’ll just have to keep doing it and complete feedback loops

At least I have an idea of what hook works now, so I’ll try to continue on in this direction.

Tomorrow I’ll continue to write more copy and do more research based on the avatar that got me a sale

Today I myself out to dinner. Sometimes I think it’s a nice thing to do for yourself. I’m part of this wine club and had to use my perks before they expired for the month but in reality I shouldn’t be doing this while I’m unemployed and unprofitable lol

Luckily the bar tender hooked it up for me. $2 on the entire bill! God bless this man

Currently I’m able to get optimal CPC, but no buying intent this time, which tells me I need to either change the offer or the PDP. I plan on changing the offer tonight as it is the easiest lever to pull, and we will see if there is any changes in performance tomorrow

I took the time to build a sub avatar and did some research on how I’m going to communicate to this audience

Finished up a new video script tonight, as well as a new video ad scheduled tonight thanks to my hard working editor

Still very early to tell if I will be able to become a successful differentiator with this product, but I will keep digging at this angle and see if there is any room for breakthrough

Getting tired of posting $0 screenshots

Still testing natives and I’m unable to get the cpc down or have buying intent

I was thinking today maybe it was a mistake to switch products after having a profitable ad set, but I have to remind myself that this was the ethically correct choice, and the direction that I felt like I needed to go in

Feels like I’m making no progress though and if I’m being honest my input wasn’t great today. Got sick and I caught myself doom scrolling Facebook reels instead of doing research on the community groups

Tomorrow I have to keep myself accountable

I have to keep pushing forward

Hopefully I have some direction tomorrow
