@TheUnCommonEra I agree, though there's probably more to it than that. Truth often reveals itself slowly, requiring patience & a degree of rationality not always accessible to the more emotionally inclined.

@TheUnCommonEra "Liberal" was a perfectly good word that got corrupted over time. But "capitalism" was never that great to begin with. It was 1st coined by critics of markets. That’s probably why the term itself ends up obscuring what the system truly is.

@cuo_liberty @OmolewaAbraham He makes a good point about Africa's wasted potential. To me, the state is all that stands in the way. Most of the Nigerians I know who live in freer societies are some of the most productive people in their fields.
