Fifty years after the Battle of Gettysburg, thousands of aging Civil War veterans returned to the Pennsylvania battlefield where they had once fought as young soldiers. The 1913 Gettysburg Reunion commemorated the battle’s semicentennial and became one of the largest gatherings of Civil War veterans ever held. Men who had once faced one another across stone walls, ridges, and open fields reunited as survivors of the conflict that had transformed the United States.

Veterans were housed in a sprawling temporary camp near the battlefield, and many were now in their seventies or eighties. They revisited landmarks such as Cemetery Ridge, Little Round Top, and the site of Pickett’s Charge, where some of the war’s fiercest fighting had taken place in July 1863.

One of the reunion’s defining moments came during a ceremonial reenactment of Pickett’s Charge, when surviving Confederate veterans crossed the field and were greeted by Union veterans with handshakes instead of gunfire. More than 50,000 veterans attended the event, and the widely photographed gestures of reconciliation became enduring symbols of national reunion, even as many of the war’s underlying issues and legacies remained unresolved.

Trump shouldn’t stop at ending birthright citizenship. He should stop handing out citizenship altogether unless a person’s absolute loyalty to the United States can be proven.

Justice Clarence Thomas just dropped the TRUTH that every American needs to hear. Progressivism isn’t just some harmless idea — it’s a direct assault on the very soul of this country. It wants to replace God-given rights with government-granted privileges. It demands we become weak, subservient, and dependent.

This is an OUTRAGE. I sure do hope that Congress will finally step up and FIX THIS before it’s too late. Justice Clarence Thomas is a TRUE PATRIOT — a man of courage, conviction, and unwavering love for the Constitution and the America our Founders envisioned.

Yesterday, Roberts, Barrett, and three liberal justices took a pen and crossed out half the text.

Now, Chinese birth tourists fly into America, have their kids, then leave.

When they turn 18, they can mail in their ballots from China.

It's amazing that these decrepit neocon imbeciles have gotten every major issue wrong for 40 years and just absolutely insist on keeping their streak of unbroken wrongness alive at all costs. Yes, 27 million people immigrated here between 1880 and 1924. The difference is that they came here legally, there was no welfare state for them to leach off of, they were not flooding in from dysfunctional lawless third world hellholes, and they actually desired to assimilate into American culture. Earlier this year two Chinese Americans were arrested for a terror plot to bomb MacDill Air Force Base not far from where I live in Tampa.

Ann Mary Zheng and Alen Zheng were in the country because they served as anchor babies for their parents who came here illegally.

I just finished reading Clarence Thomas's dissent.  I encourage you to do the same.  If you take the time to read Roberts's opinion and compare it to Thomas's dissent, Thomas completely outclasses Roberts.  His is a step-by-step history and constitutional lessen that brilliantly and methodically unravels every aspect of Roberts's argument.

Every Republican running in the midterms now needs to be constantly explaining what they are going to do to blunt the impact of today’s birthright citizenship ruling. They should have lockstep messaging as they campaign.

This ruling is very very bad for the United States, but it could be good for Republicans in the upcoming election if they laser focus on explaining to voters that they have strategies to overcome a Supreme Court ruling that has opened the door to permanently taking their country away from them and their children.
