Little old customer here. How can American Tuscon’s have a recall on faulty door locks but not UK ones? Clearly a global issue but no accountability from

@Boxinabeetle @tombennett71 Key card swipes would also be vandalised, more cost, plus children swapping/stealing cards would cause more work and confusion. Regular staff on duty helps, suitable and serious sanctions for those caught, bag/locker searches for any suspicious behaviour.

@Peter1919lufc Also I would happily work more hours but would want to be paid for them. Crudely each week is 2.5% of our salary so if we worked 5 more weeks. Shock horror 😱 we would need 12.5% pay increase. You would be apoplectic my friend.

@Peter1919lufc Over the last 12 years teachers pay through pay freezes and below inflation raises has in real terms reduced by 20%. Also we are not paid for holidays. We are paid per hour we teach spread across 12 months, no bonuses.

@mjgreene71 I’ve just read the report and ‘justification’ for reopening the railway bridge in PP to car traffic. The bridge has been a brilliant and safe way for family’s to travel around Poole/white cliff. You are revoking it even though the poll was in favour of keeping it. ?
