Group Development Pakistan, in partnership with @UNICEF_Pakistan #ReimagineJusticeforChildren program, concluded a two-day training for Juvenile Justice Committee members in Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
The closing ceremony was honoured by Dr. Muhammad Idrees Abbasi, Secretary Law, Justice, Parliamentary Affairs and Human Rights, and Mr. Abdul Wahid Khan, Director Social Welfare Department, #AJK.
Participants closed the training with a personal commitment — each writing a concrete action they pledged to take within 30 days to better protect the rights of #ChildrenInConflictwiththelaw.

Conducted in partnership with @UNICEF_Pakistan and with technical support from #GDP, the training covered key themes under the #JJSA2018 including #childrights and protection principles, adolescent development, diversion and restorative justice, child-sensitive communication, age determination procedures, lawful arrest and bail, protection of children with disabilities, and safeguards for female in conflict with the law.​
