@LauraBenanti I watched La Strada recently. Anthony Quinn at the finale, a broken man on a desolate beach on a star-sprent night, always riddles my eyes with tears. I almost lost it at the final frame of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy (2011) cause it's so damn good. No life without art.

This novel is amazing! Wright shouts, speaks lightning, rains rivers of weird, and essentially ties you up while taking you down down down into his netherworld, which is no different than Trump's America. Satire at its best, showing life at its worst. #Bestnoveloftheyear
