@D00M42@elimcgowan It’s generally understood to mean “having no spiritual basis, earthly in origin”
This is not a neutral stance: everything even nature, reason, individual or Nation will treat something as ultimate and if not God (spiritual) it will be something less and rebellious to Him.
I’m the one arguing that having a “secular and neutral” state is a bogus idea: but it’s what liberalism created.
I’m not sure why you are treating this as an incomprehensible or unsupported criticism when you seem to agree with that.
It’s a pretty traditional Covenanter complaint since before the founding.
But yes, the Nation should have been placed Constitutionally in explicit Covenant with the true God as revealed in his infallible word.
@D00M42@elimcgowan I’ve read Madison in the past; I looked up the summary of Federalist 10 just now.
Madison having good ideas and founding intention cannot forgive the sin of allowing deists to undermine the foundation of Truth.
@prayerborne@MichaelFKane Be careful using metal in a charging port, a plastic pick will be less damaging to the pins and avoid cross-connecting current which can damage the port further.
