Important interview by @MaryCarolanIT of @IrishTimes of 3 District Court judges hearing child care in Dublin
Inside the childcare courts: ‘Making money from the misery of children - that’s distasteful’ https://t.co/MBlXVIqq5m
71 killed in Israeli strike - BBC confirms it happened in area designated by IDF as ‘humanitarian zone’, (where Palestinians had been told to go). Many images too horrific to show https://t.co/DrwJZO9nNr
@NiamhatMU@IrishTimes@SimonHarrisTD Thank you for sharing Niamh. The picture for many vulnerable children is so bleak. It is a poor reflection on Irish society as a whole that these "stories" arise again & again. The levels & amount of trauma experiences tolerated should be unacceptable in any functioning system
For most people, the crisis in care provision for vulnerable children is an invisible crisis.
@IrishTimes : if @SimonHarrisTD is sincere about his ambition for Ireland, he will ensure sufficient money is allocated to provide proper care for these children https://t.co/my5xhF9M88
In the USA in 1943 they produced a film 'Don't be a Sucker' about fascism.
It perfectly explains Nigel Farage, Suella Braverman, Tommy Robinson and the entire Right.
“I resigned on Wednesday, 15 May – the 76th anniversary of the Nakba… I could no longer serve at the pleasure of a president who refuses to stop another catastrophe”
I wrote for @guardian about my resignation. How many red lines will it take, @POTUS?

Here is an article or report I got published in this week's 3 @DublinPeople newspapers about last week's Oireachtas @OireachtasNews committee meeting about the unmet demand for more Gaelscoileanna in Dublin at both primary and even moreso second level:
@NormaFoleyTD1
"This hasn’t come up because of the Ukrainian war or the refugee crisis. This has been building for long before that existed and if that hadn’t happened we would still have an issue providing appropriate care for children" ....... sadly spot on https://t.co/NJ5DCcnQsd
I don't have many academic heroes but Jennifer is one of them. We were clear in our nomination about the extent of her betrayal by the APA in the 1990s and 2000s. A good sign that they have recognised her through such an important honour.
We must do everything possible to avert an entirely preventable, human-made famine in Gaza.
I again call on the Israeli authorities to allow & facilitate safe, rapid & unimpeded access for humanitarian aid & humanitarian workers, including @UNRWA.
Feeling honoured to have contributed to this article with a fantastic group of professionals and delighted to share: Full article: White paper on forensic child interviewing: research-based recommendations by the European Association of Psychology and Law https://t.co/PTXQcd0Kiw
@caoilfhionnanna@CHI_Ireland It was a privilege to have you there @caoilfhionnanna, particularly for the final plenary where the discussion highlighted areas to focus on for impactful change across systems
