Teaching English on social media isn’t just filming traditional lessons. It’s a shift: from lecturing to dialogue, from imposed content to real questions, from control to asynchrony. Tech stops being a fetish and becomes a tool for meaningful, situated pedagogy.
I am trying to build a way of teaching that, more than teaching a language, teaches how to live among languages. As Bateson said, “wisdom is knowing what connects to what”; in this sense, to educate is to learn how to weave (Bateson, 1972).
It is necessary to understand that knowledge is not just the accumulation of data, but a network of meanings built through interaction with the environment.
