I have terrific memories of Denis working at the Mater. Denis gave a voice to many in need of support and never flinched from a challenge. He will be missed.
A very sad day as we said goodbye to one of our own at a short, but very emotional service at St Mary’s. Melujean (MJ) was a great nurse, who I first met when I was a new consultant. She cared for all her patients with total commitment and we will miss her. @Imperialpeople

Care homes & NHS are working in partnership for older people.Let's not score points about whether non-NHS care is by a "private" company or a charity. It's provided by dedicated care workers because geriatric hospitals were shut. Don't blame the businesses that filled that gap.
