I did not—and do not—support the decision to postpone the budget resolution. I worked hard to get Leader Thune to agree to bring it up so we could move forward on the SAVE America Act, and I appreciate his willingness to do so.

I’m very disappointed we didn’t vote. We’ve talked enough. It’s time to stop talking and start voting.

I also voted NO to adjourn, and my NO vote is recorded in writing with the Senate clerk.

LVMPD Officer Austin Abdelnabi was killed in the line of duty while answering a call to protect this community. A Marine veteran, a husband, and a man who showed up every day for the people of Las Vegas.
This hits close to home because it happened in my hometown.
To his wife Sage, his family, and every member of Metro — we stand with you. We are grateful for his service and we will not forget his sacrifice.

Men are made for war and law enforcement. Encourage them. Do not penalize "toxic" masculinity... we need manly men tough strong to protect women children and the elderly from invaders.
