This collab. was the direct result of an @ChEnected SEED poster session where Moshe Baruch and I benefitted from our last names placing our posters next to each other and spent most of the session brainstorming how to combine our two synthetic electron transfer modules together
Our new preprint is out!
EET in lactic acid bacteria is robust and has exciting bioenergetic implications
It's physiologically relevant: we fermented food using this EET and changed end-products and acidification rate 🥬

We are hiring!
We are looking for two PhD students to work on an industry- and ARC-funded project focusing on innovative biotechnologies for CO2 conversion into valuable products. The positions will be based at @uqwater and @AIBNatUQ. More info here: https://t.co/9qZZ5ZwgAD
I am a big fan of Abraham Esteve and his work @Bioe_Group for delivering low-cost solutions to drinkable water. I am suprised that this 100% green, sustainable & cheap technology is not used at a much higher scale. A whole book on the matter just out https://t.co/kmJulReutQ 👇
We all need a short break from the hardships of this world, so I give you these “cow shoes” that were built & worn in the 1920s by a cattle rustler named "Crazy Tex" Hazelwood to hide his footprints when stealing cows. They can be seen at the Northeastern Nevada Museum in Elko NV
We are growing and looking to fill two positions. Come join our dynamic team changing the way we manage water and wastewater. Apply here:
