Injection-molded enclosure for the DockFrame Breadboard Card, a @Framework compatible tool card.
2° draft angle, uniform thickness, internal radii. Early iteration. Injection molding exp? Open to feedback.

Building a Breadboard in a @FrameworkPuter expansion card.
Drop a small dev board in the socket, prototype in a slot of your dock. Any @seeedstudio#XIAO or compatible footprint fits. Protected 5V/3V3, breadboard pins, USB passthrough.

#DockFrame
Great day at @computex_taipei !
We visited @FrameworkPuter , @biwin_tech , VIA Labs, Inc. and others, with many conversations focused on #DockFrame, from USB-C controller chips to miniSSD card and testing existing #Framework cards.
Exciting stuff ahead.
A bench supply is easy.
One that fits in a @FrameworkPuter Expansion Card, sources its power from USB-C PD, runs both above and below the input rail, and survives a short across the probes? Different problem.

Framework-compatible expansion card with a built-in breadboard, powered over USB-C from the laptop.
PCB done, enclosure next.

I need feedback for a cool side project: an #opensource alternative to #Altium365. At the moment I successfully build an app to run @kicad_pcb 10 in a web browser (using #kasmvnc). I also added collaborative tools so you can comment, discuss, etc.
Feature request are welcome 🙏
0.8mm FR4 cut into a meander gains mechanical flexibility through geometry alone. Bend it multiple times at shallow angles or a few times at 90 degrees. Explored it, discarded it, but worth knowing. Credit to Marcos Chaparro.

LEGO studs on a USB-C dock. Why? So two DockFrames can stack for more slots, and so a clip-on frame can carry the same tiles you put on your @FrameworkPuter Desktop.
Big thanks to @Forgework_ for the test set.

Making progress on the Supply Source module for DockFrame.
USB-C PD input, DC regulation and battery connector on a single compact board. High current loops tight, everything fits the footprint.

#DockFrame got a shoutout from Framework CEO Nirav Patel at [Next Gen] 2026.
New post: what Framework announced, what 1,300+ of you are asking for, and what it changes for our roadmap: https://t.co/I1NVnpAFqw

#DockFrame was featured at Framework's [Next Gen] 2026!, and we’re incredibly proud.
It gives us even more motivation to build the product this community deserves.

We asked 704 people what they want from a modular USB-C hub. They told us. Here's what we learned, and what we're building because of it.

We're deep in the build on #DockFrame (modular USB-C hub for Framework Expansion Cards + Tool Cards).
Thanks to @FrameworkPuter for sending a mainboard so we can test and guarantee compatibility. 700+ pre-orders so far! 👉https://t.co/VAOpo0wvAM

We're building a USB 3.0 dual expansion card into DockFrame (modular usb-c hub compatible with @FrameworkPuter expansion cards), 5 Gbps per port on a compact 4-layer PCB.

DockFrame update: first prototype photos
We're iterating on the PCB now (power + routing + port behavior) and we're incorporating the community's requirements into the spec.
