@JxxSucculent Who do you think handles those complaints? It’s the people that have no say in how things are done. It’s the same people that are trying to handle the thousands of calls and applications they get every day from desperate people needing accommodation.
@ArtistAffame Honestly they probably can’t get a plumber. Tradies are in pretty short supply anyway and the list the department can use is even smaller.
It really sucks being without hot water, I did a few weeks of it last year. Hopefully it’s resolved really soon.
@tulgywoodsara Factors really don’t matter. If these were non disabled children the public outrage would be fever pitch…but because they were disabled, somehow it’s justified. What a horrible message to send to the disabled community. We aren’t disposable!
@ArtistAffame It’s a shitty situation but that’s no excuse for murdering those children.
We need to be careful of the message that’s sending to autistic people.
Waking up to find out VIC Labor is following the lead of the QLD LNP is infuriating and will have absolutely devastating consequences. On the great Leo Puglisi’s birthday no less
I'm running for parliament because we need change.
Labor’s red doesn’t represent social-democratic values. It represents the blood of Palestinians killed in Gaza while Labor signs deals with weapons companies that are arming Israel. It represents those who will die because of homelessness, the gutting of the NDIS, the near abolition of public housing programs that our Prime Minister benefited from before pulling up the ladder behind himself. It represents the First Nations people who continue to die in custody.

@ArtistAffame Maybe not in SA, but in Vic they do try and take into account people’s individual circumstances when allocating housing. At the end of the day though, do we want people housed or homeless waiting for the perfect community fit
@ArtistAffame My thoughts exactly! Theres literally a department dedicated to maintenance and repair. Maybe if they fund them properly this could be the norm
