You aren’t oppressed because you can’t have elective abortions.
It only feels that way because you’ve been living so long with the incredible privilege of being able to end an innocent human life to make your life easier.
Welcome to Equality.
Some “constitutional rights” are actually just an extreme privilege of one group to commit human rights abuses against another group.
Banning abortion takes away that privilege and protects rights equally.
See here overturned constitutionally protected right to the Slave Trade.
The Florida Department of Health updated their guidelines on the treatment of children with gender dysphoria:
Gender reassignment surgery, hormonal therapy, social transition, or even encouraging transition have “unacceptably high risk of doing harm” and are not recommended.
@pixelprotectors That whole curriculum is satanic. The “camp” also goes over sexual activity using legal and illegal drugs, self managing abortions, becoming sex workers…
@DrScottHadland The bill doesn’t prohibit students from starting conversations about sexual orientation and gender identity, nor does it prohibit teachers from engaging with them. It just prohibits it being a part of the curriculum from pre-K to third grade.
@incompleteocean@MollyBrown28@SupremeCrusader Unborn is an adjective describing *where* a baby or child is, not that it is not a baby or child, as all those definitions say. So “unborn baby” is correct term.
Now if you think “unborn baby/child” is not really a “child/baby” in utero, explain the “biological difference.”
@redee02 Missed the point. If you want to be put on an iron lung because you don’t want to breath anymore, and that is denyed, you are not being “forced” to breathe.
So no abortion access means a pregnancy is now being forced? Lets keep that logic going.
No Iron Lung access? Forced breathing.
No pacemaker? Forced heart beating.
No doctors to surgically remove food from the intestines? Forced Digestion.
@bosquemar15 Not everyone is like this. I’ve been spending a lot of time on tiktok, where you can have live, realtime conversations with people, and there’s a lot of kind people. Twitter is just an absolute cesspool, due to a design that favors gotcha moments over dialogue.
I’ve been gone so long from abortion debate twitter I forgot how intellectually lazy the prochoice community can be.
They refuse to acknowledge that prolifers are sincere in wanting to protect fetuses and argue as if we simply don’t believe in women’s rights. So many strawmans!
