Dear mothers considering abortion,
We don’t know what you’re going through right now, but we do know that intentionally killing your child isn’t the answer. Killing your beautiful baby boy or girl won’t solve your problems. We want to help you. Please let us!
Love,
Pro-lifers
@DW2025X You should read this article. It lists verses about God’s perfection and also describes how we as imperfect humans can struggle when we try to judge God (even though He is our judge, not the other way around). The Bible makes it clear that God is perfect. https://t.co/eXQTBEcJ0f
@DW2025X The Bible is scientifically the best preserved, most accurate and reliable historical document to ever exist. If the Bible is true (it is), then we know God is perfect. He is loving, just, and merciful. What hubris to believe you are more loving than the Creator of Heaven & Earth
@yayfor1a I think it’s interesting that I’ve never heard a pastor talk about the sin of circumcision. I think if it were truly abusive like you claim, as common as it is, they would talk about it more. And I’m only “defending” it because you’re baselessly slandering God and Christians
@yayfor1a You realize you are calling God a child mutilator when you say circumcision is child mutilation, right? And I don’t think I would personally pierce my babies’ ears but that doesn’t mean it’s a sin. You can’t just make stuff up and say things are a sin that aren’t
@yayfor1a God is perfect and He prescribed circumcision for centuries, it can’t inherently be a sin. Nowhere in scripture despite all of its references is it called a sin. Your beliefs are not based in the Bible and you slander others for not holding the same baseless opinions. Do better
I think mamas who’ve experienced miscarriage/infant loss are in one of the worst clubs to ever exist, but I’m in awe of how we still praise God through the storm and live for His kingdom despite the pain that will never go away. Y’all are amazing and I’m praying for you 🩷
@yayfor1a Also, for the record I’m not trying to persuade anyone that they SHOULD circ their sons, only that it’s not inherently sinful. I think prayerful and discerning Christian parents could arrive at different decisions for their sons and that both would be okay
@yayfor1a This is an interesting perspective. However, I think it’s wrong to slander Christians who circ their sons as barbaric/abusive. Circumcision is talked about a lot in the NT, but it is never called a sin. I think this is a very serious accusation to be making w/o biblical support
@yayfor1a Also I would say with modern medical advances modern circumcisions would be less “barbaric” than OT circs (though OT circs aren’t barbaric because God is not barbaric). I think all circs should be done ~day 8 due to the natural increase of vitamin k around that time
@yayfor1a It’s no debate that OT circumcision and modern circumcision are different. Would you still call it abusive if someone got an OT circ? Most people making this argument would say cutting any of the foreskin would be wrong.
@yayfor1a Yes, we have a new covenant and circumcision is no longer required. But the God of the Old Testament is the same God we have now. If He once prescribed circumcision for all of His people, it cannot inherently be sinful because God is perfect and holy and just.
