@asaio87@Ryan_Heltemes You have to know how to use the tool. You can hand anyone a Tesla but if you don't even know how to turn it on and get it into FSD mode it doesn't matter how good the car itself is.
@asaio87 Been doing a lot of work with Claude and vibe coding as someone that hasn't coded but uses a lot of tech, it's about knowing what you want, feeding the right prompts, & having a good structure in place. Roadmap doc, Operational Reference/Rules doc. Something to keep it organized.
@kareem_carr@BrainyMarsupial My guess is if a company has intentionally integrated it they either have a per person API key or just the company API key everyone has access to. Either of those would be company dime maybe with the first being an "AI usage allowance" where they have a set monthly balance?
@Kuuhaku3993 @2Materes The t is silent the fuck do you mean? That's like saying "man why don't y'all pronounce muscle right? It's obviously pronounced muskell!" On some absolutely batshit stuff right here bud
@matteo_febreeze@headspace4rent@karbonbased $30/hr on the company time is easily a $60-80/hr side/independent rate. Your 1hr $250 plumbing fix now becomes $80+ $20-50 in materials. That is a lot more than just "a few bucks" on either end.
@headspace4rent@carnesimulatore@reallybadposter@karbonbased Depending on the trade the field tech gets paid about $25-$60/hr while the company charges roughly $100-200/hr (2 hour repair to AC unit $356, 1 hour plumbing fix $250, etc) that's essentially just getting paid a commission just with a little extra cash between jobs/work orders.
@KakapoCalypse No publishers just games that gamers actually want and enjoy and spread by word of mouth. And easily have done more than $1m(except windrose as it's still just in demo phase, but it will absolutely make $1m+ on launch)
@KakapoCalypse OR be an ACTUAL indie dev and DONT get some fuckass publisher that will screw you out of money and just make an actually good game people want to play and let the players do your marketing for you.
@Atomicpuma9@spinelessaisha@PersephoneEinz Be a parent. Explain what's bad, foster a safe environment where your kid feels comfortable coming to you instead of escaping into the Internet and dangerous communities. The kids that fall into that shit don't come from healthy happy homes.
@q_w_e_r_t_y_08@WarLightx@not_mynes Mobile clone? π€£π€£π€£ Sorry it's ACTUALLY engaging combat not just "click every two seconds like a rhythm game", sorry it's ACTUAL sense and scope of progression not just "get diamonds within 5 minutes of starting your new world", sorry it's not just an empty sandbox. Gtfoh π€£
@Simon_Hypixel Fix the mod management/enabling! I've had to restart/create new worlds several times or test to see which mods broke what and constantly having to go back and forth clicking one by one when I've already hit almost 200 mods is not fun π
@0x44_@UnityCodeMonkey And then you never ship the dream game cause you didn't know how to manage scope creep. You can make small games that are chunks of your dream game y'know right? FF7 length RPG? Naww 10 hour long RPG. Next Dark souls? Naww arena boss rush roguelike. Master your systems.
@mrmuggs2010@Mobi_twitt@Simon_Hypixel Early Access sales already funded 2 years of development costs, as the modding scene and the tools grow, more updates, Adventure mode release there will be a surge of more players so it's solid for at least 5 years
@levijonathansix @ninjadynamics@TimSweeneyEpic@mattworkman You really hate poor people huh? Must be nice having disposable income huh, some of us are living off rice and beans with food pantries being the only thing standing between us and death by malnutrition. Only rich money grubbing elites are allowed to make games apparentlyπ€·
