I’ve written something about communicating arguments to, and how these arguments can empower, History undergrads. It’s something I’ve been thinking a lot about and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to write it.
How should #History undergraduates communicate in essays?
In a new post for @RoyalHistSoc's blog, Elizabeth Goodwin (@YorkStJohn) asserts the importance of encouraging, and hearing, students' voices and personal opinions in their work https://t.co/2GAJbhES9n #twitterstorians
@_hnnhlzbthprkr @DrKCMCross @YorkStJohn I am! Hello! Can I buy you a coffee sometime? My timetable has a few good gaps - email is [email protected] if you want to get in touch :) (obvs Hannah the coffee offer is also open to you anytime)
@_hnnhlzbthprkr @siobhanhearne Ooh Siobhan you'll be much more advanced than me, but I like Coffee Break Italian and Lets Speak Italian (my attention span is very short and these are short and good for listening). In bocca al lupo!
@CMedtweetci My own mum reached this stage a good 15 years ago, so I think you’ve done well to have it put off for so long. Keep an eye on your birth certificate; the urge to shred is strong with mothers.
@AracoeliRl @georginarabasso @Brepols @Jirki_Thibaut @LewandowskaPhd Hi! This sounds absolutely amazing. One quick (probably silly) question - does the proposal have a word limit? Or is the proposal 5000 words, and the finished paper longer? Sorry if this is stupid!
