Itβs insane how one-shotted so many women in my age bracket are that theyβve taken to heart that one of the most breathtaking things in nature- fostering and bringing forth life into the world- is actually a sick curse and also if you celebrate it- you side with misogyny.
Democrats are about to shut down the federal government because President Trump won't force American taxpayers to pay for free health care for illegal aliens.
Weβre likely going to face what our brothers and sisters in the UK are in a few years max, βsorry, canβt fix terrorism or immigration without tracking everyone.β Itβs coming. Despite this being untrue, they could fix these issues without additional surveillance measures.
@OttoUnt@constatively Simulation (called Mock Scenes) has also been found to be effective in law enforcement, where situations and circumstances can be readily and safely manipulated to force officers to modify their responses.
@constatively@ReemMZD I have been thinking lately about gaming and veterans and I wonder if veterans would benefit from a combat game to transfer their military skills to higher ed somehow. Some of this has been brought on by watching my kids play Fortnight.
@constatively@AEreman We have some excellent FTF teachers who are not interested in teaching OL because of the requirements of our school i.e. certify as an online instructor, then use a "canned" course, which is never "up to par." But to make their own, they must become a course developer which= work
@constatively I'm sure we can. If nothing else, the clear lesson is that the masses are easily deceived and manipulated and don't need much in the way of evidence to be led to believe the most ludicrous things. This is particularly interesting in light of our epistemology materials. #LTEC6010
@constatively Test by setting up a circumstance for both online and F2F courses where learning objectives were vague and see how the learners responded to that (as if that never happens IRL haha). The answer would be in how long it took to clean up the mess. Maybe a post- survey? #LTEC6010
@AEreman@constatively That's an interesting idea. It would also be interesting to know if the social mores so readily abandoned by the masses using social media as it is would be reacquired in a more direct, visible setting. #LTEC6010
@constatively I don't know that it can be tested before the fact. It's only after that we can see the real effects of technology on learning. Look at social media. It was very difficult to say until after it became available how people were going to interact with it. #LTEC6010
