There’s something I noticed after going through everything @verona_dev did at KBW, and honestly, it wasn’t the stage appearances that caught my attention most.

It was how every conversation kept coming back to one thing: AI can’t really do much in the real world if it can’t prove that what it knows is true.

Anthony explained this during his keynote at the @GoKiteAI event, where he broke down Verona as an intelligence layer for AI and why verified information matters when agents are expected to actually make decisions.

Think about an AI agent trying to get access to a loan, handle a prescription, or make a payment. Knowing something isn’t enough. It needs a way to prove it without having access to all your raw personal data.

That’s where @verona_dev comes in. It gives agents access to verified facts while keeping the underlying information protected, making it possible for AI to act on real-world data without simply exposing everything behind that data.

Then there’s verUSD, the stablecoin launched this week. Because even if an agent can understand verified information, it still needs a way to actually pay, transact and move value.

That’s why the connection between @verona_dev and verUSD is interesting. One gives AI the intelligence and verified information it needs, while the other gives that intelligence a dollar-based way to act.

And the team took that idea beyond presentations too. At Lotte World, Verona showed up on the big screen, Anthony joined the Magicore event, and the Verona ring toss kept people around the booth while the team ran games and a raffle.

Meanwhile, the @verona_dev booth at KBW was busy from the start, with the gacha machine running throughout the day and people lining up to take part.

Even the panel around “The AI Economy, from intelligence to the real world” came back to the same bigger picture: AI becomes much more useful when it can interact with real-world data without needing to see everything behind it.

So when I look at everything they did around KBW, I don’t see just another event appearance. I see a team taking the same idea from the keynote, to a panel, to a theme park, to the booth, and showing people what it can actually look like outside a slide deck.

There’s a lot happening around @verona_dev that you might miss if you only look at the announcements. Take a little time to see what they’re actually building behind the scenes.
