The Sinhala racists think that they have won, but thats not the case. We will fight for Justice and for our homeland where Tamils have lived for thousands of years. Nobody is stopping us from fighting against Sinhala opression! தமிழரின் தாகம் தமிழீழத் தாயகம்🐅❤️
Alongside Tamil Americans in New Jersey and across the United States, I honor the memory of the tens of thousands of Tamils who were killed or forcibly disappeared during Sri Lanka’s ethnic conflict. We continue to advocate for a just and lasting political solution based on Tamil self-determination.
41 years ago these mobs ran through Colombo butchering Tamils.
These mobs, backed by the Sri Lankan government, killed, tortured & raped.
These mobs burned homes and looted businesses.
These mobs displaced and destroyed.
41 years later, these mobs still roam free.

What's the problem in Gaza?
Hamas, a Palestine outfit, attacked the Israeli army last year.
Why did they attack?
It's an outcome of decades long occupation of Palestine by Israel.
What's the aftermath?
Israel started attacking the Gaza Strip and killed Palestine people saying that Hamas is using them as human shields.
How did the world governments react?
The countries headed by America, legitimized Israel's attack by saying that it was Hamas which started the whole thing.
How did the world's people react?
They conceded that America is an ally of Israel and refuted the government's narrative by saying that the whole thing was not started by Hamas, but by Israel in the first place. People all over the world came down to streets condemning Israel and its supporters.
How did the media react?
Whoever condemns Israel is faced by one question from the media. Whether they support Hamas. In order to qualify for condemning Israel's genocide, one was put under pressure to condemn Hamas. But the people of countries tore up the hypocrisy of the Media.
But Hamas is an Islamic terrorist outfit. How do the other political lineages support it?
The lefts, liberals, democrats and every other political affiliations except the fascists have no issues in calling the act of Israel a genocide. They happen to agree that Hamas acted in the anger of years-long oppression in the region.
Now let's talk about a similar situation that happened before. About the war waged by Sri Lanka over Eelam!
A quick recap of Sri Lankan history:
Sri Lankan government, from the time of Independence, treated Tamils as second class citizens by depriving their rights in all forms. Parliamentary fight didn't help the Tamils to get their representation. Agitated students chose guerilla warfare against the state. Tamil Parliamentarians accepted their defeat in the Parliament system and supported the students for getting an Independent Tamil Eelam state. LTTE was one of those student organizations which grew with the support of Tamils as they know that it was the only organization that could not be puppeteered by any other neighboring country like India. LTTE captured some Tamil parts of Sri Lanka from the clutches of the Sinhala Government and formed their own independent Tamil Government of Eelam State.
What happened in Eelam?
After continuous aggression against LTTE army and Tamil State, Sri Lankan Government managed to unleash a complete war by 2006 with the help of regional and world powers.
Why did they attack?
It's an extension of decades long hegemony of the Sri Lankan Government against Tamils.
What's the aftermath?
Sri Lanka waged war against Eelam and killed Tamils saying that LTTE is using them as human shields.
How did the world governments react?
The regional powers are India and China. Both helped Sri Lankan Government to have a hold for their own in Sri Lanka. They both, like America now with Israel, legitimized Sri Lankan Government's war by saying it was LTTE they are after.
How did the international community react?
The international community, except some in Europe and Sri Lankan Tamils of the world, didn't have much of a clue about the war. Because, the only country that has a connection with Sri Lanka's history was India.India stood with Srilankan Government against the will of Tamil Nadu's people just like the Saudi Arabia is standing with America now. India obstructed the accumulation of support against the Sri Lankan Government's genocide.
How did the media react?
Whoever condemned Sri Lanka was faced by one question from the media. Whether they support LTTE or not. In order to qualify for condemning Srilanka's genocide, one was put under pressure to condemn LTTE.
But LTTE is not a religious outfit. In fact, it called itself a socialist outfit. How did the other political lineages support it?
The lefts, liberals and every other political affiliations of India remained reluctant in calling the act of Srilanka, a genocide. They just were not able to comprehend that LTTE acted in the anger of years-long oppression. Sri Lanka's left party aligned with India's left parties. Indian Left parties, reflected the Indian state's interests. They played the role of America as it does in Gaza today. They condemned both Srilanka and LTTE for the war and concluded that the killing of lakhs of people wasn't a genocide but a war crime.
Geographically India played a role in undermining Eelam genocide worldwide. Politically Indian Left, Intellectuals and Liberals played a role in downplaying the magnitude of Sri Lankan Government's genocide in the world stage.
Just the same sort of scenarios. But Indians took different stances.
Distance, Market, Geography, Blacking out and Lack of International solidarity, Indifference of progressive arenas, Indian Brahmanical State's alignment with Sinhala Buddhist State are some of the reasons why our morality in assessing failed with Eelam but remains sharp with Palestine.
Today is the remembrance day of Mullivaikal massacre. The last strip of Eelam where more than a lakh people were confined and killed by shells of Srilankan government. Entire Eelam was wiped off on 18/05/2009 by killing the leader of LTTE.
Both Eelam and Palestine have suffered the same modus operandi of annihilation, traitors and enemies!
Still India and its intellectuals have their own reasonable versions (so they think) to support Palestine Cause and reject Eelam Cause. Hypocrisy reigns Indian intellect.
Today we commemorate our Tamil Martyrs and yet irrespective of the circumstance or politics, will always stand in solidarity with Palestine.
We always remember!

A few years ago Suma dismissed the black flag protests by Tamils against Sri Lanka's Independence Day as fringe politicians misleading people. But this is representative of his (and Shanakiyan's) politics, which remains at odds with the nationalist politics the ITAK proclaims.
#SriLanka’s double standards in its legal policy exposed by ‘running to foreign courts’ over the Xpress Pearl disaster, which ‘the government wants to get away from,’ while rejecting foreign judges over war crimes and enforced disappearances in the north & east, says @ShanakiyanR
The month of May is bringing up a lot for me - mostly anger. The whole f*cking world played dumb then, and for years after, pretending THIS didn't happen. And now some accepting the genocide happened when it suited their political agenda, my heart hurts looking at these photos 💔
The brutal suppression of a #Tamil peaceful protest in #Jaffna by the #SriLankan military & police, which included aggressive actions against Tamil Mothers of the #Disappeared, violates the fundamental #HumanRights & democratic principles of #FreeSpeech & Freedom of Assembly.
The reason Thalaivar Prabhakaran is iconic is because he planted the seed of the Liberation of Eelam Tamils. It begun with him. He lead by example and his spirit is within every Eela Tamil now, in whichever way we contribute to the struggle. (1/2)
Non-Tamils in Tamil land katharal in quotes and underneath this post is epic to watch 🤭
Let us say it again, தமிழினத்தலைவர் மேதகு வேலுப்பிள்ளை பிரபாகரன் ❤️💛
This is just crazy. My religion does not change with the times. Right and wrong doesn't change just because the people do. Islam is the same as it always has been and isn't going to change. Dig it.
