Today is #RareDiseaseDay. Did you know that motor neurone disease is considered a rare condition?

We estimate that a person's lifetime risk of developing #MND is around 1 in 300. Not enough people know this, so let's make more aware.

In case you missed it, there has been some encouraging #MND research news.

An extended clinical trial into the drug, #Tofersen, has found that it can slow progression of the SOD1 inherited form of motor neurone disease.
