I'll never run a school that promises 0 exclusions or suspensions, & never set a target to reduce them.

The aim is safe, secure schools with great behaviour.

I hope that the need for exclusions hence reduces but we will never succumb to pressure to artificially lower them.

Exclusions are caused by a child’s behaviour being dangerous, abusive, violent or degrading to others. Schools do not cause exclusions. Most schools would do anything to avoid excluding children.
