I don’t think it can be described how much being on a social work degree changes your perspective on so many things, how self aware you become, and how you seem to evaluate everything. #socialworkstudent
Does anyone who has completed the social work degree agree that it transforms you as an individual! I feel I have changed (for the good).. a lady told me once day that everything in my life would fall into place.. she was right 🦋🦋
Didn’t expect to feel so exhausted on day 2 of my placement! Although super grateful to be part of such a fast paced team, lots and lots to learn and experience 😊🥱 #StudentSocialWorker
Children's #trauma often gets misunderstood!
The most well-meaning, wonderful people just aren't aware, it doesn't evaporate because a child is now living somewhere safe.
At the start of every academic year I always share this for parents, foster and kinship caters to use.
5 years ago I received the worst GCSE’s results and was absolutely heartbroken. Now, I’ve gained a 1st overall for my 2nd year of uni and 1 year away of becoming a qualified social worker. Never give up or let results define your future!👩🏼🎓💭🙌🏻.
