Waymo freaked out and sped up to highway speeds through construction trucks, police chased us.

Genuinely thought we were about to die.

I’m not anti technology but there are real concerns here that are currently contained to social media .. as new models come out and there is more exposure to tools there is going to be an influx of bad actors using this harmfully.

Right now it seems impossible to solve

Some of the AI tools are remarkable, they can generate images that fool 99% of people.

People are already making stuff to be passed off as real. It’s not long for this to be a technique in politics and for more nefarious reasons.

How do we not see this being one of the most dangerous things to society?

How can we put safeguards on content generated? Is it even possible?

Would each generation have to be logged for public reference?

In 5-10 years, "No AI" or "Zero AI" will be a badge of honor for companies, like "eco-friendly" or "plastic-free" or "no GMO" is today. It’ll be a mark of distinction.

Oh yes. I think the state of media today is absolutely awful. The lack of skill and skill building / learning has taken a dive which has crushed a lot of what we see.

You’re not going to get a lot of incredible cinema/TV anymore and due to the lack of good education emphasis on honing a craft.

This is my problem with the Ai, we’re in a terrible spot now, having generative tools is going to make it much much worse.

Like we’re not dying to it’s going to take place, Netflix will 100% switch to AI and you’ll see a death of storytelling / art unlike ever before.

Artists are worried because they know the process and what having the process automated will do (especially since it’s an LLM generating a medium output) we should be fighting for human first / Led content because your dream will come true soon and you will all be changing your tune when everything is ABSOLTUELY unbearable

Right now sentiment is not good for AI as a creative tool. I think this will continue, I think AI will be used for VFX stuff but it’s a good move for him. He wants the creative community on his side, not the AI.

We can save this post but I bet the sentiment will be the same in a year.

My big conspiracy theory is that food in America is absolutely destroying our bodies.

I grew up in the UK used to drink milk, and at anything and never have digestive issues…

Year 1 of USA I’m having constant stomach problem, cramps, have to watch what I ate etc
