#Day2 | 4th IGAD Scientific Conference on Migration, Displacement & Urbanisation
Day Two of the Conference spotlighted the critical intersection of urban governance and human mobility. Mayors and technical leaders from across the IGAD region engaged in experience-sharing on how cities are responding to the growing influx of migrants and displaced populations.
The Mayors and Technical Leaders presented cutting-edge experiences on:
•Urban governance and inclusive policy development
•Access to finance for displaced populations and urban migrants
•Data-driven urban planning for migration and displacement
The discussions aim to shape practical, evidence-based urban responses that uphold dignity, resilience, and sustainable development.

The recently published Food Security & Nutrition Assessment Unit #FSNAU report on 15th February reveals a concerning food security situation in #SWS state.
Approximately 955,360 people are currently facing #severe food crises, highlighting the urgent need for interventions.
