@GBNEWS More of the same globalist hard left agenda; if the voters of Makerfield were expecting a good MP to represent their interests in parliament, they'll be very disappointed.
Which most people won't understand, or use.
If it requires effort or time, they won't be prepared to sacrifice it, because it isn't important enough to them.
The government will then declare victory and move on to controlling the next thing.
Human nature and politicians are all very predictable.
@PapaJim1977@WasAcop And many will - the government would then need to enforce a block - of servers who's IP address can be changed fairly easily - good luck with that working for them.
@WasAcop@jimmy_wales It won't work. They can't block servers in other countries, that change their addresses, or anyone running their own VPN - which is trivial to setup - just ask an AI how to do it.
They would 'enforce' through client side scanning, but it requires Apple and Google to play ball (for mobiles/cells), and Apple and Microsoft for Laptop/Desktops.
I suspect all 3 companies will comply give the value of the UK market to them.
As far as kids are concerned, they'll largely get around it with alternative operating systems and devices, as will most techies.
The majority of the populace though. will have every aspect of their lives tracked and eventually controlled.
@toadmeister No, no. KYC is exactly the wrong thing to do.
The way to protect children is and always has been parents.
KYC just swaps one form of control for another.
